Optimal 26
Optimal 26 is a left handed Osage orange reflex deflex longbow… American styled. I spent a lot of time getting the string alignment correct where it’s closer to center shot. The bow is 64” nock to nock, and pulls 37lbs at 28”. My intention was to craft a bow suitable for 3D tournament competition, but fully capable of taking a deer. The reflex in the limbs is all natural except for the last 6” or so, where I added a little additional reflex. The handle is carefully sculpted to fit the hand comfortably, with no sharp corners. The tip overlays are mulberry burl. The grip is leather with the edges skyved down. The arrow shelf and plate is of the same skived leather to make it very thin. This bow has nice rings, therefore no sinew or other backings applied, making it acceptable for IBO competition. As soon as I can get my lefty grandson over, I’ll do a video of it being shot. $750 plus shipping
